Good Morning, Sunshine

Let’s talk about morning routines:)


I LOVE morning routines! They help set me up for a good day, and help me feel refreshed before a busy busy day ahead. Morning routines can help ease stress, promote healthy habits and increase your energy levels. I find that I am the most productive in the morning (which is why I go to bed so early #grandmabedtime ;). My typical morning routine looks like this:

  • wake up ☀️

  • drink a big glass of water

  • make my bed

  • brew my coffee ☕

  • have my pre-run snack while I journal

  • practice meditations 🧘🏼‍♀️

  • do some light yoga and roll out

  • change into my running clothes

  • head out the door for my morning run 🏃🏼‍♀️

  • see the beautiful sunrise


Although I do love my mornings, I am trying to focus on not being so rigid when it comes to routine. This is something that I have struggled with, but I’m experimenting with switching up my routine to practice flexibility. Reminder that every day can be different and that is COMPLETELY okay <3 Switching up your routine can help you to stay balanced and not get stressed if your morning doesn’t go as planned.
